[Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur. January 31, 2025] In a joyous and spirit-filled ceremony, six pastors were ordained into the ministry at the Gov. D.O. Plaza Government Center in Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.
The ordination service, held on January 31, 2025, at 7:00 pm, was attended by a large crowd of guests, including Southeastern Philippine Union Mission administrators and directors, namely Pastor Danielo Palomares and his wife, Ma’am Jill Palomares, Pastor Edwin T. Magdadaro and his wife, Pastor Danny P. Inato and his wife, and Pastor Nelo Seda and his wife.
The six pastors ordained were Pastor Donald Torreon, Pastor Fanuel Egos, Pastor Clinton Dumangcas, Pastor Rogelio Marquez, Pastor Gadiel Llagas, and Pastor Charlito Tepan Jr.
The theme chosen for the mission was “Serving God, Serving People,” which reflects the pastors’ commitment to serving their communities and spreading the word of God.
Pastor Danielo Palomares graced the program with a wonderful message of encouragement, urging the newly ordained pastors to remain faithful and committed to their calling.
The dedicatory prayer was officiated by Pastor Edwin T. Magdadaro. In a solemn and meaningful moment, the newly ordained pastors were then solemnized by all ordained pastors present, who laid hands on them, symbolizing the transfer of spiritual authority and responsibility.
Adding to the inspiration, Pastor Jemsly Lantaya, Ma’am Jill Palomares, and Ma’am Luzijun Lantaya shared heartfelt words of encouragement and acceptance to the newly ordained pastors, welcoming them to the ministry.
Pastor Rey Dela Cruz then delivered the charge, emphasizing the importance of their role as servants of God and the community.
